Linda was a tough competitor all the way, and never quit bein' a fighter. She made a permanent mark on Wyoming, and is so deserving of those pages in Linda Lanker's TOUGH BY NATURE book. You kids are lucky to have had her for your mom -- may the good memories bring you comfort at this time and all the days to come.

I knew Linda from 4-H in Casper many many years ago. She was a terrific horsewoman and fun friend. She and the Sanford family embodied all that is good about the American West. So sorry for the loss of such a dynamic person.
