Strasser, Duane "Mick"
We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Mick when he visited our family in North Carolina!
Please know that we are thinking of you with our love,

We will be keeping all the family in our prayers. Catherine "Petie" Brown and Daria Wood
- 9/7/2014Marilee, Patty, Carol & Lisa,
Like so many others, we have been in the place where you are now, and can truly say we know just how you are feeling. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
Cherish each memory of your dad, even though they are bittersweet at present. In the years to come, you might use a tool, hear a song, speak a phrase, or smell an aroma that will trigger an old memory... and maybe even a smile.
It will serve to renew your love and appreciation for Mick. In this way he will be with you as long as you live.
Mick said he was ready for the next phase. Perhaps he knew it would not be so much an extinguishing of a light, as it would be a completely new dawn.
"When you come to the end of all that you know,
you must believe in one of two things:
there will be earth upon which to stand,
or you will be given wings."
Lots of love from Marilee's in-laws,
Matt and Teresa Hale
(Donations to Frontier Hospice and St. Thomas Church are being mailed in Mick's honor).
