Ferris, William "Bill" Michael
Barb and Family,
So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Bill's (Billy Mike as we called him) mother was our dad's sister. I have fond memories of Billy Mike and his sisters helping us sneak into a carnival when we were visiting. We would visit when ever he came through town. We're thinking of you during this time.

My Uncle Bill... What a Beautiful, Honest and loving person. Bill taught me so many neat things when I was a little fella it would take pages and pages to write them all down. He would always drive many miles out of his way while he was out on the road driving his rig to come spend time with me and my family in California. He continually made the extra effort each time he was around California. And would always tell me funny jokes that I found hilarious. I will remember him as the loving family man with a heart of gold. The heavens needed another star in the sky I guess. I'm certain you are at peace and I love you and your wonderful family. My deepest condolences to Barbara and family. I love you guys!

Dear Aunt Barb and girls,
I will miss my uncle Bill so much! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him. I am so grateful to you. I will always remember how he was there with my mom when she was suffering. He was a truly remarkable care giver. He became my hero as he took care of my mom. Now you have done the same. I wish that everyone had a fun Uncle Bill like I did! I will always smile when I think of him. Love you, Shelley

A great man! A great husband! A great Dad.. Will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Audrey Brooks - 9/10/2014We were sorry to hear of the passing of "Billy-Mike" as he was called when we were growing up. Our Dad was the younger brother of Bill's Mother, and it's a shame that distance and time has allowed out family to grow so far apart. The last time I saw Bill was when he accompanied his Mother and Sister Yvonne to my father's funeral; the last time I talked to him was when I called a number that had been enclosed in a text from my brother, Joel, and found myself talking to him as he was driving on a long-haul. We spent the time talking about family, his and mine, and were hoping that he would get a load that would bring him back to the Chattanooga/Atlanta area so that we could visit face-to-face. I know that you will all miss him.
