Whitman, Carolyn
I was so sorry to hear about Carolyn. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My mother Nancy Spearman was good friends with Carolyn for many years. She spoke very fondly about Carolyn.

What a wonderful lady. She received so much joy from her children-my daughter went to school with them and it was so much fun watching Carolyn watch her babies at the school events. The love radiated. For the children now, may you take peace in the knowledge that you gave her that joy. All my sympathy and prayers.
Much sympathy to Carolyn's family.
In my brief encounters with her, Carolyn was a woman of compassion, courage and possessing a gentle soul.
There is no doubt she will be missed!
The world is a sadder place without Carolyn. She had such great talent and was so intelligent!!!! I will miss her. I was honored to work at the police department all those years with her, and was really honored when she gave me painting lessons. I will never be the artist she was, but she taught me to truly love art. My prayers are with you kids, know that she is watching over you
Wanda Carey - 12/1/2014One of my most favorite memories of Carolyn is of my family dropping in (usually unannounced) when we were on our way back from vacationing in Dubois. Carolyn never batted an eye and fixed a massive amount of spaghetti, which us kids enjoyed immensely, but my dad absolutely detested. It amazed me that he always ate it for Carolyn but refused to touch it any other time. Mike, Pat, and Nate, I'm sorry for your loss. May time ease the ache and the memories flood your hearts.
