Be strong Leah and know that David is in a good place. Although your years together had some problems, a loss is still a heartbreak. Know that we love you and have sent many thoughts and prayers to you and David. Our spirit will be with you.

Sgt Kurttila was a great man and a great leader. i had the pleasure to serve with him in Iraq in 2004 and other years in the Wyoming Army National Guard. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Davids family.
All we leave behind are memories and David left us many good ones.

I did not know David very well, but when i saw his name I immediately thought of you. After I read the obituary i realized that you two eventually did marry. I do remember that he played the drums. I am so sorry for your loss.
