John Rodgers - 2/5/2015Love to all
Ted lange - 2/5/2015I enjoyed knowing Verlen , he had a great sense of humor. I
and many others will miss him.
Ron and Debbie Robbins remember Verena as a quiet, gentle man that loved his family. I also remember that he loved his pancakes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Debbie Robbins - 2/6/2015May God surround your family with His Love and comfort during this time.
Pastor Cleve & Cissie McSwain - 2/6/2015Uncle Verlen was my very best Uncle. He always called me Doll, and I got so I called him Uncle Doll. We both said we were Pretty good, mostly Pretty! After he couldn't drive anymore, I loved the time he & I and Mom spent together, eating lunch, going for drives and picnics, watching Grand Ole Oprey Reunions on Cd's., going out to dinner once a week with Wayne and Judy and any other relatives that were in town. Before he called me Doll it was Scootch and he was always there for me. I miss him and Aunt Marvine soooo much, but they are together again and he is with his brothers too so I am happy for him. It's those of us left behind that have our hearts broken and will always miss him. Mom always called him her Brother because she didn't have a real brother so he was more than just a brother-in-law to her. Condolences and Prayers to Bob, Martha, Vana Sue, Lora Ann, David, Chris, Mike and family, LaTosha, Rich and Haley. Aunt Verva, Aunt Verna and Aunt Harriett and all of his Nieces and nephews. God Bless.
Carol Tuss - 2/6/2015Lora, Dave and Family,
No words can really help to ease the loss of a loved one. It's difficult today but may all of the wonderful memories give you peace and comfort in the difficult days.

Bob & Diane Leonard - 2/9/2015Bob and family. We were truly saddened to hear of your loss of rosebud. He was always such a gentleman and so enjoyed good humor. We were glad to run into him at Baileys a couple of months ago. It was fun visiting with him. Your memories will live on through all of his kids, grandchildren and those of us that new him through the years. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
