Dick, Jerry
To Jerry's Family,
Jerry's service to our country during a very difficult and long war is to be admired. I was in high school when he was injured and the Viet Nam War became very real for our Riverton community.
Your entire family made a great sacrifice. Thank you for all Jerry gave to the United States and for all you did for him.
Respectfully,
Jerry served his country well. Being severely injured did not dampen his sense of humor.
I was very proud to know him. I know he is with his parents & OUR LORD.
So sorry for your loss. God bless your family
Rodney & Sally Stover - 4/10/2015We first met Jerry at one of the 15th Med Bn reunions and he captured my heart immediately. He shared many stories and I loved his smile. The last time I saw Jerry was in Franklin, Tennessee at another reunion. Lee Greenwood was there and he sang "God Bless the USA" to Jerry in person. Not a dry eye in the place. What a terrible loss for so many but may you find comfort in knowing he is with God and we all have a Guardian Angel watching over us now. My condolences to Wayne and Cheryl, two amazing people. God Bless
Linda & Bobby Brooks - 4/10/2015Wayne and Cheryl, you are in our hearts at this time of incredible sadness...You are great people, loved by many. Jerry was my friend in Nam and forever will be my brother.... So happy to have been privileged to spend time with him at reunions and during our fun visit to your home. Thinking of you....Norm & Karen Roberge

We are honored to have meet Jerry and some of his family. May peace and comfort be found in knowing another hero will be wounded no more.
Shirley Deakins - 4/10/2015Rest in Peace Jerry. You fought the battle and you won. Our Country owes you a debt that is too great to ever re-pay. I love you Brother. Your old friend and fellow Vietnam Veteran - we did have a few good times "over there". I wish all the best to your family.
Frankie Wilson - 4/11/2015Jerry will always be my brother. We served in Vietnam at different times, but we did the same job. Jerry always had a smile on his face and he always knew what was happening around him. Wayne and Cheryl, you are still part of the 15th Med family, and always will be. Thank you for taking such good care of Jerry.
Jerry: "tail's clear left"!
My condolences about Jerry Dick. I knew him in Vietnam because I was training him to be a door gunner. Well, I got wounded on June 17, 1968. It was always a pleasure to see Jerry attend our Reunions.
Murray Gibbs (Sgt) - 4/11/2015Rest in peace Jerry. It was an honor to have known you. Jerry Stack

Really sad to hear of Jerry's untimely passing. I was one of the wounded Soldiers that Jerry and his crew were attempting to evacuate on July 24, 1968, when Gerry was hit by enemy ground fire. I have a video of Lee Greenwood's performance for Jerry and watch it often to remind me of how he sacrificed for me and many others. Now it becomes my memorial to a great man and true Patriot. May he rest in peace. Thanks to Wayne and Cheryl for all the care and dedication they have shown Jerry for all these years.

May our brother jerry rest in eternal peace. I never got closer than a couple of hundred feet to jerry, but consider him a friend and personal hero. I was one of the grunts on the ground on July 24, 1968. I don't have the words to explain what the actions of Jerry and his crew meant to us that day. I know God has a special place for our brother Jerry. He and his family remain in my prayers forever.
