Swofford, Michael L. "Mike"

I will truly miss you. We had hours of long conversations on life and shaving. I hope you are in a better place and happy.

What a great friend he was. I will miss him and his knowledge of DE shaving which he shared freely.

We are saddened by the loss of Mike. He served the WHP faithfully, and as a member of our Patrol family we feel your sorrow along with each of you. We will keep your all in our thoughts and prayers as we remember Mike with deep respect.

Wow, where do I start. First, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Mike was a wonderful friend and coworker. We worked at the grocery story here in Dubois together for quite a few years. I had so much fun being around him. Always gave him a bad time for giving me my first speeding ticket lol. I was the only one that got away with calling him Swoffy. Thanks Mike for being such a close and dear friend of mine. I am going to miss you a lot. I know you and my mom were dear friends so please take care of her for me. Love you! Polly Johnson(Boedeker)

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during times of tragedy. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 we are promised that very soon 'death will be brought to nothing'. Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on this earth (John 5:28,29). I truly hope this brings you comfort and hope. With deepest sympathies, Gwen and family.
