Susan Taylor - Casper - 6/15/2015Dena, so sorry to hear of your loss. I wish I could tell you it gets easier but the truth is it never really does....we just get better at covering up the empty hole left inside. At any given moment you will be over come with sadness unable to stop the tears...go ahead and cry as much as you need to it really does help. In time the jagged edges of your broken heart will soften and your crying time will decrease little by little. Baby steps remember baby steps....Soon you will smile at the sweet tender memories that slip in and out of your mind and sometimes when you're all alone you will laugh right out loud. Remember to talk to him he is closer than you think...he can hear you. In the days to come you will discover strength you never knew you possessed it will drag you out of bed when all you want to do is sleep and dream about a better time. This same strength will push you through each day until you are able to find the good outside your door. Surround yourself with the people you love and when the strength cannot be found lean on them. My heart goes out to you and your darling daughter. God bless and take care my friend.
