Wright, Katherine
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Wish we had realized you lived in Paonia. We are in Grand Junction.
Jim Heberlein family - 6/23/2015I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Wright's passing. She was one of my favorite teachers at St. Margaret's School. Your family will be in my prayers
Nicole (Bebout) Schoening - 6/24/2015I was lucky to work with Kathy at St. Margarets in the early 80s. I remember her calm nature and a great laugh.
Rosanne Riley - 6/25/2015Kathy was a great inspiration to all those at St Margaret's. She had an impact on the education of our children as well as many others. May the peace of Christ be with her and her family.
Bill & Kathleen Howard - 6/25/2015I heard the news today. I am so sorry to hear. Your family has been so dear to mine. I have lost both my parents. My dad and I were very close. I think of him every day. He taught me about respect for others (whether you know them or not), hold good true friends closely, and to enjoy everyday with a laugh and smile. Though I live in Colorado, and am not on social media much, it doesn't mean I don't care. I remember Don and Kathy giving me peace at my father's (Jack's) service. I will never forget that. He thought a whole lot about your family and would always update me on how things were going with your family and others in town. So I wish you peace as well. Carol Stephenson
Carol Stephenson - 6/25/2015Mrs. Wright was one of my favorite teachers. She was my 4th grade teacher at St. Margaret's and was the best balance of caring and strict. She read to us after recess every day and always picked good books. Two that I remember are Island of the Blue Dolphins & The Secret Garden. Whenever I see them, I think of her. Condolences to her family, Jennifer (Liss) Suntych
Jennifer (Liss) Suntych - 6/25/2015We are deeply sorry for your loss of your beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Kathy was a role model for me as a teacher; I wanted to be like her. We are grateful that she was teacher to three of four of our children. Our whole family was enriched by her. I am also terribly sorry that I was unable to attend the Mass at St. Margaret's. I was only informed of it late the night before and had two committments here in Laramie that day that I was unable to cancel on short notice. Again, our sympathies and gratitude for having known such an outstanding woman.
Jeanne Van Heule - 6/26/2015
I was so very sorry when I recently received word of Kathy's passing. She taught at St. Margaret's Catholic Elementary School for 13 years and I was principal of St. Margaret's School at that time. Kathy was an outstanding teacher. She gave generously of her time and many talents to students and staff. A person of integrity, she had a strong faith and was loving and caring. We were blessed to have had her gracious presence with us during those years. She and husband, Don and family will be remembered in my prayers.
