Uncle Charles was always honest, giving and outgoing. He will always be remembered as a great uncle to have had for a kid from California.

It has been many years since I have seen Uncle Charles, but one thing I remember most about him was that he waited patiently for my aunt to marry him. They were good friends for several years before they were finally married, and Uncle Charles treated Aunt Irene well. You were a good man, Uncle Charles.

We spent many enjoyable Mother's Day working his cattle.
