Goff, June
To June's family,
So very saddened to learn of June's passing. Our last contact with her was by telephone on her birthday as she was celebrating it with her family and she was having a GREAT TIME! Our memories of June and Ev are many, especially when they were teaching us to play bridge, how they really felt about smoke-enders; our joint yard sale; discussion about our much too large and expensive house, led by June of course; how they were trying to keep the squirrels off their birdfeeders; and the highlight of all: the week we spent with them visiting Riverton and Yellowstone. We could not have had more gracious hosts or a better vacation!
Our sincere thoughts are with you all. We will miss June as we miss Everett! Good friends are hard to find; harder still to replace as if that would be possible.
Much love to you all both now and in the future.
Evelyn, Bill and Janis Hodge
JUNE WAS JUST LIKE A MOTHER TO RICHARD AND I WE CALLED HER MOM FOR
MANY YEARS.SHE HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING TO SAY.

WE WILL MISS HER, BUT SO GLAD SHES WITH EV NOW AND KNOW THEY ARE SO
GLAD TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN. OUR LOVE AND PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY.
HUGS AND PRAYERS,
So sorry to hear of June's passing. I worked with June at the Riverton Public Library many, many years ago. I often enjoyed her company and help in the children's department. I liked her sense of humor and talking to her (while we worked, of course!) about life. She was a lovely person and I'm glad I had the chance to know her for a while. My condolences to her family.
Kristy Hardtke - 8/24/2015Dear Susan:
I was so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. I remember when she and your Dad moved to Riverton from New Hampshire and how you were looking forward to them being closer to you and your family. I enjoyed visiting with her at the hospital auxiliary. She always had a few "words of wisdom" for me. Blessings to you and your family.
Susan,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. You were there for me to talk when I went through the loss of my mom, and I am hear if you need to talk.
Stay strong.

Another member of the 1567th has departed. Remember Columbus, Ohio. June, Everett, I and a young lady whose name I cannot remember would hang out together when the 1567th was stationed there. After we retlurned to civilian life Ina and I visited June and Everett both in Goffstown and later in Riverton and they us on Long Island. Great friends and great memories.
INA & JOE NOWICKI - 8/25/2015Our prayers are with you. We enjoyed meeting your mom and dad at the reunions.
Linda Nowicki Toth & Al Toth - 8/25/2015My condolences to June's family. I knew June through Friends of the Library, but I got to know her much better when she attended a Bible study we have at Homestead Assisted Living. She faithfully attended each week and always contributed something meaningful. She was a wonderful lady and I shall miss her.
Carol Cooper - 9/9/2015So sorry to hear about June... she was one of my favorite people... always so upbeat and always had a smile. I stopped in to see her the day of her passing and she was sleeping so peacefully... I am so sorry I didn't get up to see her earlier. June and Ev were such wonderful people... we were blessed to have known them... prayers for all of your family.
