Gardner, Earl David "Dave"

Dear Gardner Family,
I am sincerely saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. I liked him from the first time I ever met him. I Would bring that old "B" across the pass from Farson, to the Tractor shows, and the first person I would generally see was Dave and his smiling face. Leah and I left Wyoming in 2004, and Dave was one of those people I always wanted to see again. I got my wish this summer when I attended the show in Shoshoni. The sun chased us across the lawn at the little park, as we tried to stay in the shade. We talked about tractors, kids, grandkids, jobs, everybody we knew, and pretty girls.
He was a joy to be around, and I will miss him till we meet again. You folks are in our thoughts and prayers.

Since the weekend nothing is the same. I was so happy to get to see during my 10 th class reunion @ SHS. We talked to each other like I was never gone from your ranch.You told me about the Germans you got around your farm and how you wanted to go to Germany. I would have loved showing it to you.
I loved being around you during my vacation at Kelly's and Kim's house and I already looked ahead seeing you in a couple years. Now that feeling is gone, I will never get to see you again, but I will always keep your beautiful character in mind.

I was very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a fine man, and I always had great respect for him, for the life he lived, for the kids he raised, and for the example he set as a hard worker, as a husband and as a family man. I hope these most difficult days pass as quickly and easily as possible for all of you. The old saying for a difficult situation like this is that time heals. I'm sure this one will take a long, long time. My most heart felt condolences to you all, especially to Claudine.

Larry and I have been so saddened by the news of Dave's accident. We have always known him to be such a great person, and highly respected by anyone that knows him. He's always been so kind and thoughtful, and helpful whenever he could be. We will miss his big smile, and hearing him tell of his grandkids and their latest adventures, and how things were going on the ranch. He was truly an awesome man, and will be so sorely missed. We will be praying for you all, for comfort and healing of your pain and loss.. Rest assured, he still watches over you, and he now soars with Eagles.

I am so sorry to hear about this tragedy. May God be with you during these trying times.
I was a charter member with Dave in the Flywheelers Tractor/Engine Club and shared a lot of “old tractor” stories with him.
I was also the Farm Bureau adjuster on many of his claims so we kept up while doing that also.
He will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear about Dave. He was my dad's - Jake Gardner - cousin. We met and were around your family a few times and always thought Dave was so nice. My dad enjoyed being around him. My deepest sympathy to your family.
