Standridge, Kenneth "Kenny" James
Julie and Don, So sorry about your dad! You have been and will be in our thoughts and prayers! Chery and Bruce DeGroot
chery de groot - 1/22/2016I am so sorry for your loss! Uncle Kenny and your family was a large part of my life. He was my "role model". Many a time when faced with a tough situation I would ask myself "what would Uncle Kenny do?".
Even my decision to enlist in the Navy was because that's what he did! I loved his stories of the Navy and working in the oil field with my dad!
Over the years, I have tried hard to be like him. I tried to raise my children like he raised his. I know that I didn't do as well as he did. However,I also know that I did a whole lot better than I would have without his influence!
I am proud to have the honor of receiving his praise. He thought I was a "hard worker" and "a good hand"! I doubt that he knew how much that meant to me and to many others!
He always was and always will be a great man. I'll miss him and look forward to seeing him again in a better place.
I apologize for not being able to be with you at this time, but my nephew Jake is getting married next Saturday in Lander. I'm just getting too darned old to make that drive from So. Dakota back and forth twice in one week.
Please know that I love him and you all a lot and that you're in my thoughts and my prayers. Robert Henman
Julie and Family
Sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. Enjoyed having the opportunity to know and visit him when we were in Yuma. Nice guy.
It is hard to lose a parent, but we all face it and hope for strength and love to get us through it. Time heals and we always treasure our memories.
He will now be wheeling and dealing in the promise land.
Our love and sympathy are with you.
Dick and Marietta
Rest in peace!

Hi Family,
Sending energy your way! Wish I was there to give you all a hug and see the entire crew. I told Julie, Judy, and Sonny that I remember their Dad was a real go-getter and always had a smile on his face. I think that is where his kids get their smile. I know Grandma Leola helped with that too! :) I love you much.
Jerry
