Culver, Charlie
Charlie was such a kind man. His smile and positive attitude were contagious and he certainly touched many lives. It was our privilege to have known him. Sincere condolences to Billie, Sandra, Randy and all of his family.
Pat & Jennet Ballinger - 2/25/2016The measure of a person is not in his wealth or station in life but in the lasting legacies of family, behavior and charity. Charlie and Billie have dedicated their lives to these characteristics. They have consistently shown that honesty, integrity and honorable purpose are the guidelines for a meaningful life. They insisted that their children abide by the same principles. And the world is now richer because of this grand couple.
Gene Culver - 2/26/2016My memories of Charlie go back many years. One of the favorites is when he was delivering mail to the Diamond G Dude Ranch (now Brooks Lake Lodge) where I worked during the summer. I was in college in Virginia and had come west to pursue horses, cowboys and the Wild West. I was being pursued by a man who would become my husband and our way of meeting was for him to drive up to the ranch on the mail run with Charlie. Not long after we married and started our own family, the Culvers broke our hearts by moving. We never lost touch, though, and were so happy when they came to their senses and moved back to Dubois. Charlie, you broke hearts again, when you left us first in mind and now in spirit. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
Cynthia Boyhan - 2/26/2016Billie and family, I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We rented the house above the golf course from you and Charlie 6 years ago. My son and I so enjoyed getting to know you and Charlie. He was a wonderful, kind and generous man; who always seemed to be smiling. Our condolences for your loss! Amy and Laine Halsey

Pat Hays Culver - 2/28/2016I remember the first time I met Charlie, Billie, Charles and other members of the Culver Family in Santa Monica, some 45 years ago. Charlie welcomed me as Ralph's sister and as Margaret's future sister-in-law. As the years went by, our two families got together any number of times. I especially enjoyed our visits to Montecito and was impressed by Charlie's extensive gardening projects, by his energy, and by his generous service to the community, especially through Rotary. Charlie had a gentle sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye which set others at ease. He seemed to love and savor life. I will always remember Charlie and feel grateful that I got to know him. My heart goes out to Billie, Linda, Sandy, Margaret, Charles and to all the Culvers.

Pat Hays Culver - 3/1/2016Hello Charles, Pat and Culver family,
I just wanted to express my condolences for the loss of your dad.
I know the loss you feel at this time is great and I hope with the passing of time that it will lessen somewhat.
Take care.
