To Sam's children Justin, Samantha, and Miranda, whom unfortunately our family has not met but are thinking of you and would like you to know, the brief moments we were fortunate enough to talk with Sam he made us feel like he had known us his whole life. He was funny, witty, and very kind. You must have felt very blessed to have such a father in your lives.

To Sam's Sister Peggy, and Brothers, Jerry, Mac, Russell, and James, my family is thinking of you and believe you must have felt very blessed to have Sam, your brother in your lives for so many years.

From my family to yours we hope your memories of Sam will carry you all through this difficult time and bring you and your families closer together and to cherish one another.

I will always remember the GREAT fishing trip to Dubois.
