Jean and Family,

So sorry about to hear about Stella's passing, but what a wonderful woman she was. We have many fond memories of our time on South First Street, where she really took us under her wing and taught us so many things. (I also remember shutting the car door on her fingers when we took her to a show at CWC, or possibly out to dinner. No complaints from Stella--she was tough!)

I believe I'll put some Red Hots in my rice pudding the next time I make it, just to remind me of your wonderful mother.
