I was unable to attend the service for Diane, but I wanted to say to the family that Diane is one of the few people who have had a major impact on my life. She and I took a Stephen Ministry course at the same time. She was from Trinity Lutheran, and I was from St. James Episcopal. We both had a desire to serve and to help others. I am a very shy person, and Diane gave me courage. I often think about her great courage when I am facing a difficult situation. You will miss her, I know.
