'Dawn Woman' my heart goes out to you & all your family. All us Native Americans were truly Blessed to have had such a good man walking among us & for our ways. My Prayer's of comfort & to ease the pain, go out to you especially & his loved ones & those who respect him. Our tribe has definitely suffered a great loss. Bless you & yours.

My father, Jake Korell, loved Mark and his family. I was so lucky to have also known them. It was such an honor to listen to Mark relate the history of his people. I shall treasure the time spent and the items he made that I purchased from him. May the Great Spirit and the support of family and friends help to ease your sorrow.

Mark was an inspiration to many young people. Both of my children graduated from Arapaho High School and appreciated that he and members of the tribe would grace graduation with their presence, always instilling solid values in his talks, and encouraging young people of all backgrounds to follow their dreams.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I'm sorry i didn't attend for i just heard about it and for that i am sorry. He will be missed not only for what he did in life but for who he is. I will pray for your family and Mark that he has a good journey.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I hope you may find comfort at Revelation 21:4, “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We can look forward to the time when God will take away all reasons for distress and he even gives us a hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

Sending my deepest condolences to Mark's entire family, friends, and extended community. I was honored to meet him last year in Carlisle, Pennsylvania; and the words we shared after the ceremony for Little Chief will stay with me always.

I honor his spirit today.
