McMillen, Kathleen B. "Kay"
I can only imagine the joy on Sandy's face to see her Mama.
Rest in peace dear lady
Words can't describe how much you will be missed, Kay! Your kindness, sense of humor and orneriness will live in all of us forever...until we meet again. God Bless you and rest in eternal peace, my dear friend.
Please accept my sincere condolences to the McMillen family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Kay. The Bible assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken in heart. May your many great memories help you find peace and comfort as you go through the coming days. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Krystle - 4/30/2019We will never forget how hard headed she was and so very ornery too. She was a great lady. Aunt Kath will be missed.
Bill & Ann Addison - 4/30/2019To the Family,
I want to express how sorry to read about your loss. Losing a family member can be very painful. When I lost my father, I found comfort in what the Bible teaches.
I fully believe, as the Bible teaches, that God will restore paradisaic conditions to our earth and that he yearns to bring back to life on earth those who have died—including our family members. (Job 14:14, 15; John 5:28, 29)
We can look forward to the day when we will hold and embrace them again. Every time we hear the word “paradise,” that hope warms our hearts! In the meantime, we can take comfort in the fact that they are in God’s memory.
I hope the same thoughts may bring your family comfort in dealing with your loss.
My father visited Cousin Kay
In the mid 1920's. My 1st
Visit was in 2002. We (my brother Ross & husband Don)
Had the best time ever! We
Re-traced some of the places
That my father had been to.
What I remember mostly from
That visit we laughed a lot,
Also what a kind hearted &
Generous person Cousin Kay
Was. She will surely be missed by one & all. For The
Lord is good, His mercy is
Everlasting Psalm 100:5
I'm Kay's second cousin and I loved her very much. we corresponded often and I will miss finding her letters in my mailbox. She filled me in on so much of my family history that I didn't know. My visit to her home in Riverton will always be cherished in my memory.
Rev. Ross Drysdale - 5/1/2019Katie, I was sure you'd make 100! Sorry you had to leave early. You were known and loved by the many people who were fortunate enough to know you...your rascally wit and cheerful outlook were endearing. Daughter, Sheila, shared many of those traits. Things will be more lively in the special Heaven for Scots, as you join all your children and hubby. You'll be missed!
Sharon Bryant - 5/1/2019May God rest her soul! I am sure her family was waiting with open arms! What a lovely woman!
She was my mother's best friend (Aletha Boyd) as they went to school together, both husbands went into service, so they both went to work in Denver Colorado at the naval depot. They graduated the same year and have been friends forever until my mother passed away several years ago. Bless you Kath, you will be missed and all your children will be happy to see you and so will Harry.
