So sorry to hear about Doug’s passing.
I enjoyed working with him on his physical therapy... even if he wasn’t always glad to see me!
May he Rest In Peace !
God Bless,
Carmen
My condolences to the family. When I saw this name in obituaries, it was a blast from a past. His daughter Jeanette and I were friends as preteens in New Mexico. He was a good guy then, I had no clue that I was living that close to the Pilling family here in Wyoming.
Prayers to the family.
Enjoyed going on mine inspections with Doug. He cared about his important job and was a pleasure to learn from, the consummate professional. Also a wonderful guy. Condolences to the family.
Chris & Trish Pritchard - 3/7/2020 I want to extend my heart felt condolences for Doug. He was the coolest individual that I have had the pleasure to know. I met Doug several years ago when I was the miners representative at the Stauffer Mine, now known as OCI. He had a special "charm" that was immediately felt. I grew to know as well as respect him not only as an MSHA inspector but as the gentleman he was. I still remember our inspections that he conducted over the years, and how much he taught me about safety and law. Over the years when Steve took the "reins" and would conduct an inspection I would always ask him how Doug was getting along. Steve always assured me that he was enjoying retirement and that he still remembered who I was! That always meant a great deal to me because I believed that I also made an impression on him as well. Farwell old friend,,,,,,,,,,,,,I will never forget you!
