Melanie Keyes - 5/15/2020John was such an interesting brother-in-law! He and Pam were well matched. They were kindred spirits, jumping into every experience with both feet, holding hands even while bickering. And they made such a welcoming homestead for their blended family, both taking care of the kids, thrilled to be parents and grandparents. I know that John will be there in spirit as Pam continues to hold the family together. Big hugs to all the nieces, nephews, and grandies from us. Warm wishes to everyone who loved John and is missing him.
John always seemed so chipper, even to the end. Whenever we talked on the phone he had a joke or two, despite being in pain. The last time we talked was during a Zoom meeting in April, and he kept popping in and out the room. He never could sit still!
John, we'll miss your sense of humor and stories of your travels. We're so glad to have spent some time hanging out with you. Tonight we'll sit outside, crack a cold one, and think about how you made the world a better place to be.
