McDonell, Gus

Ella, Sherman and families I am saddened to hear of Gus' passing. I have many great memories ofconversations with Gus while he was shoeing our horses. He had a wealth of knowledge about horses, leatherwork, hunting and fishing and most things western! Gus was quite a guy and I know he will be missed.

My condolences to you in your loss. What a fine man who taught you also to be fine people. Heaven must be a place of happy reunion today.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad--he and Ada were good friends and I still miss Ada. Condolences to your family--I am thinking of you.

I feel so privileged to have spent years with Gus listening to his stories while he shod my horses. A kind and fascinating man. And I never had a shoe fall off in the mountains!!! He led such a rich life.
