I remember George as a tough but fair employer and you knew the meaning of hard work. I learned a lot from him. I can’t believe it’s been 30 years ago!
My favorite story involves a Pecan Pie I had baked and brought out to the house. George was enjoying it and asked who made it. When i told him that I did, he stopped in mid-bite and looked at me like I was a crazy.
My sincerest condolences to the Pingetzer family.
