Our heartfelt condolences on your loss. We have so very many cherished memories of Kit - what began as a chance meeting years ago blossomed into a beautiful friendship. Kit had a heart as big as the vast Wyoming sky & we will miss her warm smile, heartfelt hugs and laughter. She was a loyal friend & spending time with her was always memorable!
Kit was kind, compassionate, gifted & adventurous!! She wholeheartedly valued her community of Dubois & loved to volunteer, she thrived in making others feel loved! She organized a weekly bingo night at the Warm Valley Lodge and would often kindly provide little gifts for the residents.
A visit to Mark & Kit's Trapline gallery in its day, always left a lasting impression on you - she was a real Dubois icon! Kit had a vast knowledge of Native American artifacts & jewelry and she zealously shared that gift with Dubois residents and tourists alike, speaking of its craftsmanship with admiration & conviction. I will miss those educational conversations with her! She touched so many lives & we will forever miss her!!

My deepest sympathy to you. She was a dear friend when I lived in Dubois. I loved working in the gallery with her. We had so many laughs.
Our condolences to Graham and his children. We are very sorry for the loss of your mother. Kit was a special friend and we shared some wonderful experiences and will be remembered. We were part of the gang that gathered greens and put them together n the back of her store and then put them out and took them down. The one thing the obit did not mention was her involvement in being part of the joining Jo Hehr and I in starting the Dubois Booster Club. We spent hours putting together the annual for sale school calendar with sponsors, taking hundred of photos with our personal cameras a film to give every kid a packet of pictures at the end of each sports season. She and I took the first pictures of the senior classes outdoors at the end of the school year for the newspapers, and she and Mark built the big ram billboard at the football field. We made buttons for the parents to wear with the pictures of their kids. SOO many fun projects. Loved shopping at her store as each item had a "story" about its origin and she loved telling. It. Kit was an icon in Dubois and her life will be remembered with beautiful memories.

Graham and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was always a huge supporter of us as kids growing up. Both your parents were always at every game and school event when we were kids. Even as an adult, I loved visiting her at the shop and hearing about how proud she was of your accomplishments. She really was a special lady! May you find comfort in your memories. God’s blessings, old friend! Brandi (Meyer) Marvici
Brandi (Meyer) Marvici - 12/5/2020So sad to hear of Kit’s passing. What a wonderful talented woman she was. I was proud to call her a friend. Graham my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. She was so proud of you. If you need any thing done from here don’t hesitate to ask.
Donna Carlson - 12/5/2020To the family of Kit. I loved your Mom, (and your Dad) so sorry for your loss! We have the Moosehaven cabin and never forget the legacy left behind by your parents! My parents built the A-frame cabin that borders Moosehaven, they became good friends! There are so many good memories of the times up there. Your Mom was such a great lady and I always enjoyed her company and friendship! She was such a blessing to Dubois and her love and knowledge of Indian art was amazing! I own and wear one of the rings that survived the fire that she sold me at a community market, it has always held so much meaning to me. I also own some of your Dad's paintings, what an incredible artist! I am so saddened to hear of her passing, my condolences to you. God Bless. Mary Campbell
