What a grand woman and wonderful friend Charlotte was. She “took me under her wing” when I was Deanery president and it was then I saw her love for the CCW and her faith. May she Rest In Peace.

My second mom - I learned so much from her. My heart is filled with wonderful memories of both of them, and I will carry her with me always. My sincere sympathy and prayers for all of you.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Charlotte but I know her lovely daughter Erin. Erin has shared so many special memories of her parents, sisters and happy times on the farm! So I know Charlotte was a wonderful mother and grandmother. To her family, I send my most sincere condolences. She will be missed by you all, but she has left a wonderful family as her legacy.

What a special lady she was who always greeted me with a smile. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. You are all in my thoughts and prayers once again.

So sorry to hear about your mom. She’s a great woman. We had some good times in Missouri Valley with all the neighbors there. You always knew when you had a wedding or a death that everyone in the valley would be there to help. Your mom and dad were some
of the best. We all missed them when they moved. We hope you kids are all doing well. Love you still.

Honoring the passing of a wonderful person. She added so much to all lives who she touched. She was an inspiration to all.

Sending my prayers and condolences. Charlotte was the sweetest lady whom I enjoyed visiting with whenever I saw her.

My mother was a very good friend of Charlotte. Their friendship continued so that we visited with the Downey family at least one or more times a year while growing up. I learned to ride a horse at the Downey farm from Charlotte and Chuck. Charlotte was one of the nicest people I know and I’m saddened by her passing. Our family has lost a wonderful friend.

Please know that you are all in my prayers and I am deeply blessed to have grown up with Aunt Charlotte and all you beautiful girls. Sending love and hugs! I will forever have fond memories of Aunt Charlotte.
