I was fortunate enough to have worked with LaDonna for 7 years here at NAS Pensacola. As Manager for T6 COMBS I can honestly say LaDonna was the most hard working and dependable employee I have ever known. LaDonna always put others before herself and was a gleaming example for her coworkers and program workers alike. LaDonna could not have been more excited the day she proudly announced she had graduated with her FIRST Masters Degree! When I spoke to her about her accomplishment the following week she stated how above she was even more proud of the fact she had done so with HONORS and even more importantly she had no outstanding student debt! Never one to gloat or hold her accomplishments as being better than her peers, LaDonna was well loved and respected by everyone who came into contact with her here at T6 Pensacola. LaDonna spoke to me in her last year here in the program how she dreamed of one day returning home to start a small business and give back to her community a place to work on potentially selling or distributing aircraft parts. I always had confidence if anyone had the ability and strive to make something so enormously difficult, she would be the one to be able to do so. I know LaDonna's last few years she faced so many obstacles yet she continued to look forward, never back, always forward as she completed yet her second Masters degree. What an amazing person! I cannot begin to understand why God has taken someone who has worked so selflessly her entire life at such an early time when she had so much potential, but I pray for God for you and her family to give us the strength to understand and accept it is his will. I thank you for LaDonna and I pray so deeply for you in your time of loss.

I worked with LaDonna for about 6 months, when I worked for DynCorp at T-6's at NAS Pensacola.
I enjoyed working with her. I saw her at my dentist office once.
Although she was very private, she had a big, good heart and spirit. I will miss her. When I left T6's, she gave me a parting gift and card. I think that I may have been the only one she did that for.
I think I was the only one at work who made her laugh.
Gone too soon. May God Bless her.
My sympathies and prayers for her family at this time.

LaDonna was a truly unique woman, whom, I believe, has made her family and country very proud. My fondest memory of LaDonna, is from when we worked together on NAS Pensacola, and it was her birthday. She brought in ice cream to share with everyone at our site, and it was HER birthday... in true LaDonna style, she remained private about her actual birth year, but was openly sharing her celebration with coworkers. She was sweet! My family and I are sending our deepest sympathies and most sincere condolences to all who knew and loved LaDonna. We pray her body now rests in peace, while her spirit rejoices in paradise. xxx

My condolences to LaDonna's family and friends. I had the honor of meeting LaDonna at Ft. Bragg in the 82nd ABN DIV. We were friends as we both were Indigenous, coming from Native backgrounds. We unfortunately lost touch as we separated from the military, however I always wondered how she was doing and am glad to hear of her accomplishments. She was a great individual and true hero for serving her country. I remember countless times where she'd be getting ready for a jump or a field operation for her unit. She will be missed...

May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept our sincere condolences.
