Heggie, Ervin J. (Butch)
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It has not been very long since we lost our Dad. I know your pain first hand. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. May your memories give you strength. Remember the good times. I have many great memories of you "Heggies"!!
When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still.
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
When you hear the thunder.....it's not angels bowling.....it's loggers in heaven!
Take care of each other. May God be with you all.
