Though no words may comfort at this time, know that we are praying for your hearts to heal over time.
Lovingly, Your Friends in Jackson, WY.
Marie, Tammi, Charlie, Pat,and Christi
I am so sorry for your loss. Steve, Kenny, and Pat were like brothers to me. Steve could light up a room just by entering it. His smile, laughter, and personality were one of a kind. If there is anything you need please don't hesitate to ask. I was very pleased when I talked with Steve about a week ago. He told me how he had excepted Christ and that he had just been baptized. (He said it didn't hurt hardly at all!) I could tell by looking in his eyes he knew his life would end soon and told me he was at peace. I was thankful for that as I am thankful to have been blessed to be his friend. You all are in my prayers.
Marie and family, Our hearts go out to you during this sad time. Nothing can be said to bring comfort, but know we are with you in your tough times. Hugs to you all.
Kathy Eickbush-Cannan - 4/14/2009Marie,
Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. May God lift you through this trying time.
Marie, Tammi & Charlie,
Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you and your families during this tough time. Steve will be greatly missed but know that he is no longer suffering and in a place we all strive to be. His infectious laugh and room brightening smile I will miss the most. We love you all and if you need anything even just to talk it's only a phone call away.

Marie,Tammy,Charlie and all of Steve's family.
Reuben and I are so very, very saddened by Steve's passing. But our only consolation is to remember that God has a plan for all of us and with our faith in Him we know our beloved friend is in His hands and his suffering is over and he is at peace.
We are so very thankful to have known and been a part of his and your lives for so many years. What a blessing and comfort that is to us in this grieving time.
As we reflect on the good times one of the greatest is Steve's laugh and personality. Do not recall ever a frown on his face unless of course, the Packers were losing or he had a solid hit and hung the 10 pin!!! Best of all, remembering the smile on his face when he bowled his first 300!!
Marie, be assured we are only a phone call away just to talk and know that you and all his family are in our thoughts and prayers forever.
We loved him as we love you.
See you on Saturday.
God Bless
Reuben and Rosalee

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Although we hadn't been in touch for a long time, I've often thought of the great times we had as kids. The roman candle battle in the snow when we turned 19 (we were born four days apart) is a story that I still tell people about. He was the better shot. Steve, buddy, you're at peace now.
Michael Meyer - 4/17/2009Steve, we enjoyed bowling with and against you. We loved your wonderful personally and were inspired by your courageous battle. Our love and condolences to your family. You will always be remembered by the McOmie's
