Rebecca Caroline Ransom

Ransom, Rebecca Caroline

Miss Ransom was one of my favorite teachers at WTCS. I learned so much from her. She was so creative and had a passion for her students. She influenced many. Because of her, I love Paul in the Bible. I learned so much about Texas history. I enjoyed keeping in touch through Facebook. Prayers for the family. This is so shocking.

Miss Becky made such an impact wherever she went. Unapologetically herself.  Thank you miss Becky for all you did for me. Have all the wonderful fun in Heaven

So sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

I am so saddened by this news. I met Becky at the Denver AG store and would stop by just to see her. She was a very special person, with a smile that made you feel loved. My thoughts are with her family.

I am so heartbroken.   Becky and I met while she was living in Amarillo.  Our paths crossed as we both became enamored of Route 66...and we spent a great deal of time with Fran at the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, TX working and having fun.   Oh my, how she will be missed!

Joann Harwell - 2/17/2023

Becky and I met in college at Springfield. We attended the same church and worked on the same bus route. She had many friends, and we had many adventures during the time we were there. She will be missed, and we are praying for comfort for her family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Becky's passing.  I went to Riverton schools with her from elementary to high school and remember her as a kind and thoughtful person.  Reading of her accomplishments after high school shows what a positive impact she had on many many people, which hopefully helps comfort those who love and miss her.    Condolences to her family.

I am so very sorry to hear this news.  My family & I loved Becky very much and spent a lot of time with her. We taught together at West TX Christian School & San Jacinto Christian.   Living on a Christian school teacher's salary is hard & Becky sacrificed so much to do this-working extra jobs at the Big Texan & helping with Route 66 activities & the Cars movie.  I was so glad we were able to still connect through Facebook after she moved.
I know Becky loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Most sincerely, Susan White & family

Sorry to hear about Becky's passing.  Please know this family is in our thoughts and prayers.

My precious cousin, how I remember you as a freckled pig tailed little girl in Pinedale and Jackson. Our pathways seperated us at a young age but through family, we followed each other. I will miss you as I will miss Wyane as well. Sandra, stay strong. I know it is hard right now, but your faith will pull you through.

I'm so saddened to learn of Becky's passing. I had the awesome pleasure of working with Becky at the American Girl store in Denver for many months and she was such a joy to be around. I remember her as such a friendly and welcoming person whenever I'd see her at American Girl before I was employed there. I knew her as someone who was passionate about her job and I was consistantly in awe of the wonderfully creative activities she'd come up with for the in-store birthday parties.  I have no doubt that there is a generation of kids that will remember their visits and their parties because of Becky. She will be missed.

So sad to hear this news. Becky always made me smile and choir in high school wouldn't have been the same without her. I still have a music box and a figurine that she gave me as gifts which she got at Bi Rite Drug. Good memories which I will always cherish. Love to you all.

My daughter and I were shocked when Joann told me Becky had gone Home. We met her when we were working at the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, Tx with Fran and Joann. She could brighten a room with her smile and personality. Her and her family are in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your family of the passing of Rebecca. She will be missed very much from the Riverton community. I remember her from Bi Rite in Riverton with her bright smile.
