Larry,Shawna, DrueAnn and Mitch very sorry and sad to hear  the loss of Shirley. She rates right up there in the top 5 of one the most pleasant, outgoing, and full of love and happiness of people I have ever meet. We continued to see one another occasionally and it was fun. I will miss her always. Great Lady, Great Family!

To the Benson Family,  I am so sorry to hear about Shirley's passing. She was such a sweet lady.  All through Elementary school, she was such a big part of our lives with Drue Ann and the gang.  I've seen her several times out and about and it was so fun that she would recognize me and we could catch up a bit.  Well. . .. she would recognize me to be one of the twins.   

I remember always being so impressed that she could be chewing someone out for misbehaving and the phone would ring; she would take a second to compose herself and say "mmmm Hello" with the sweetest sing song voice.  

I pray that you all can remember the love and good times you shared with her.  Rest In Peace, Shirley.

I am so sorry to hear about Shirley. She was such a special person. I went to school with her and just had the pleasure of running into her at the store not long ago and got to visit with her. She was her usual self and had that beautiful smile she always had. Condolences to Larry and all of the family.

So sorry to hear Shirley is no longer with us. She was one of my favorite classmates in high school.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs Benson's passing! (Could never call her anything else.)She was a beautiful woman and was always so sweet to me during the many years we hung out with Drue Ann.

I did see her once in a while and it was good to catch up with her then.

So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing.  She was a great friend when we lived in San Antonio.  Laughing was always a major part of our numerous adventures.  Sending my sincere condolances to her family.

There are so many memories between "Hello" and "Goodbye". I have many with Shirley, especially during our teenage years.....Girl Scouts, sports, music fetivals, church choir, slumber parties, "dragging main" ....just to name a few.  As adults, get- togethers were fewer, but just as special. She was always there thru the years. Larry, my thoughts and deepest sympathy are with you and yours. Hold your memories close.

insurance agent (and a great one, at that), but I was so sorry to learn of your wife's passing.
