I am so sad to hear of Ben's passing! 
It's been a long time since I saw him but I'll always remember his laugh and how he'd make fun of me for saying "lasoo" the wrong way!

I had the privilege of getting to know Ben through guiding him on his waterfowl hunting trips to Saskatchewan. He was the kind of person that greatly enjoyed the outdoors and had a deep respect for nature and people. Conversations were never dull and were usually filled with joking and laughter. I sadly only got to know Ben through his trips here and our phone conversations several times a year. We often talked about God  and often prayed together. He loved his family very much and would always tell me how they were and what they were doing and how proud he was of them. Even though our time together was short I had a deep respect for Ben and will always remember the time we spent together. And I know that his wonderful friendship with Les and all the good times and laughs the two of them had together will always be cherished. Love you Ben and will see you again one day .
