Dear Carita and Family, So sorry to hear of Daves passing. I too worked with Dave at Lathrop and Stotz equipment. We had lots of good times discussing quality tractors (need I say John Deere), Union Pacific steam engines, and Windriver Fly Wheeler activities. He wasn't affraid to wade into a dirty baler or swather, clean them up and make them look good and ready for sale. It has been an honor to call him my friend. Hope you have a Big Boy steamer and a Popin' Johnnie in Heaven to play with Dave. Rest in peace.

David, we were in contact way back in the 1970s, when I discovered you were a nephew of Haston L. St. Clair who built model steam engines and wrote a book about Reeves engines. I found out he'd willed you one of his models. We built our friendship further by attending the steam shows at the Barnes Steam and Power Show at Belgrade, Montana. We looked forward to seeing each other each August. And Carlta was excellent kitchen help in the "cook shack." More shows elsewhere, then you came to Helena for a steam-up with our son Mike and me. I have such great memories of our friendship. May God truly bless your memory in all friend's minds and be with Carlta and your extended family. I'll sure miss you.

Carlta & Family, We enjoyed visiting with Dave so much. Such a fun person to joke around with. Many happy memories talking tractors. A lot of good times together. Praying for your family during this difficult time. 

Carlta and family, you are in our hearts and prayers!  We have many fond memories of our time together at Trinity and especially putting together the military care packages.  May God provide you with His Peace and wrap you in his Everlasting arms of Love!
