Ralphaelita Stump

Stump, Ralphaelita

Rest in peace Raphaelita ❤️
I am so happy that I was able to meet Raphaelita, Quinlin and the Big Wind singers/drummers at the Mountain Rhythm reset in Jackson hole. I feel quite fortunate to have listened to her as she looked deep into my eyes and shared a very personal experience with me.
She revealed to me an experience that she had as a young girl where she was injured when she slipped, fell, and cut herself deeply in her abdomen in her school house and what happened in the wake of her painful injuries. Her father shared some very powerful, spiritual and valuable words with her on Western medicine and God's healing power. She fasted and prayed for days upon his recommendations. After I believe it was four days, her injuries were completely healed without a trace. She said from that time on she was completely dedicated and prayed every day.  I am quite honored that she would share these words of wisdom with me, and shall never forget them and will be forever grateful to have been touched by her beautiful soul! From myself, my wife  Laurie, our family, and the entire Raven Drum Foundation we extend our deepest heartfelt condolences to Quinlin and the family, the drummers/singers  and the Shoshone nation.

Rest in peace Raphaelita Stump. ❤️

One never knows the impact someone can leave in our hearts and minds.  Ralphaelita worked for my parents in Dubois in their cleaning shop in the 1950s.  As small children she impacted all our lives with her beautiful face, sweet smile, sweetest, patience disposition and kindness.

She never talked much but always greeted us with a smile and acknowledging us.  Her peaceful countenance was mesmerizing.  I just wanted to gaze at her in wonderment at her beauty and countenance while she worked ironing clothes.

Her name was emblazoned in my memory forever.  When returning to Wyoming a decade ago, I saw her name in Crowheart and recognized immediately.  And reading of her beautiful daughter Raphaella and her accomplishments when she passed.  Now reading about the accomplishments and impact of this beautiful lady...will always be eremembered and an inspiration to me and my family.
