Sharon K Osback - 1/4/2024I will truly miss the brilliant (and hilariously sarcastic) wit of Mr. Harris. We started work at Wind River Family and Community Health Care in January, 2018.
There are so many things about people that take time to learn. On our second day of work I was walking from my car into the clinic and noticed Mr. Harris sitting in his truck. Being a morning person and most likely with too much caffeine on board, I bubbled on over to his window to say hello (in about 100 words).
He stared at me for a bit, rolled down his window and said two words that made me laugh until I cried. I realized at that time that Mr. Harris was not a morning person and that I was pretty sure I'd like him.
My heart goes out to his family. He was always speaking fondly of them.
I will miss him.
teri tesdall-sartori - 1/5/2024I was saddened to hear of Richard's death. We became friends while serving in the military in the late 70s. Our mutual interest and background in EMS was a strong bond. Further he guided my interest in first becoming a P.A. then a physician. To say he had an incredible sense of humor and life philosophy would be an understatement. So many times while laughing I would ask him did you really just say that. He was a good soul and I'm sure as he traversed the pearly gates was sharing a story and explaining a life event. He will be missed by all fortunate enough to have met him. His contribution to my life is beyond measure, as is my sorrow. Our faith teaches us we will see each other on the other side. When it is my turn I expect to see Richard and pick up where we left off. My heart is with his family during this difficult time. You are in my prayers for strength and comfort GOD speed good and faithful servant.
R Keith Bailey MD, PA - 1/5/2024So sorry Sarah. I wish I could fix it but words cannot express what you feel today and in the days to come, or how much we care for you....
