Chand, Robert

Bob Chand was my Jr. High Teacher at Fort Washakie School. He lived behind the school for many years and I always went to his house for candy on Halloween. He is remembered for being a great teacher and he had a pet Iguana.

When Bob was my teacher he saw that I enjoyed helping other students. He told me that I would make a great teacher. That is what I went to college for and I always remember that he said I would be good at it. I thank Bob for telling me that at an early age.

He was a good man, had a kind heart and always had a good word for everyone. He will be missed. I am sorry that I did not stop by his house more often to visit with him.
