Dear "cousin Katy", you were a one-in-a-million lady. I am so pleased to have known you.  While I never fully understood daddy's cousin relationship to you,  it didn't matter. I enjoyed playing golf with and against you! It was never an easy task to compete well next to you as you were quite the competitor! 

My condolences to your family.  I know they will miss your sharp wit, your love, and your presence in their lives.  May God be a merciful God and bless your way to heaven with golf courses only Jesus could design!

Mom and Katy were very good friends and enjoyed each other's company. Whenever they would visit with each other over the phone, it was like listening to two teenagers having a conversation. We were so very sorry to hear of Katy's passing. May this wonderful friend rest in peace.
