Fleming, Joyce

Mrs. Fleming was one of my elementary school teachers.  I don't remember which one, but I do remember her from her picture.  She was a good teacher and kind.

She was my second grade teacher.

Joyce was my second grade teacher at Ashgrove.  She got me hooked on reading  and math flash card challenges.  As I got older, I babysat for her daughters.  Lived 5 houses down from her on Elk Drive.   Mutual friends were Bill and Peggy Sills, daughters Dawn, and Shelley and  son Todd.  Shout out to Paula Brownfield,  friend from Ashgrove .  Brownfield 's house and fields were magical to me.

You were a dear friend of mine. I enjoyed all our conversations. You will be truly missed. And I'm thinking of you girls. I love you Joyce🥰.

Joyce & I went all the way through Grade School, High School & graduated together from LVHS in 1956.  She was a good cheerleader & a special friend.  My thoughts & prayers are with all the family,
