Anna Weber Stearns

Stearns, Anna Weber

To the Weber family,

There will never be enough words in this universe to describe what Miss Anna means me.  The first time I met Miss Anna was in the spring of 1978 when I needed help hemming a prom dress.  She was very impressed and offered me a job that summer to work with her at Raggedy Anne Creations.  She instilled my love for sewing, designing and creating the visions in my head.  It seemed like we were always sewing custom designed western shirts for one band or another.  When it came time for me to get married in 1984, she was there for me when my mom couldn't be.  The fun we had planning and designing everything from the dresses, flowers and even the music.  She will always have a special place in my heart for the rest of my life.  One of the best things was that in 2012, I reconnected with her amazing daughter Sammie who helped me get through a very rough time and I love her as much as I love her mom.  My prayers to all of you and she will be terribly missed.

I only met Anna once in person in Farson, WY. We met at the Farson mercantile (The Ice Cream Palace). We talked about many things. I was looking forward to collaborating with her on two more books as she edited one and had read the second also. I had no idea that was the first and last time I would ever share our hearts with her husband and herself.

What a lovely and talented special human being she was. I had no idea that she and I had so much in common. I will miss her because I never really only got to see just a glimpse of she she was.

We see through a glass darkly now, but then face to face...till we meet again Anna.

Anna was an amazing lady. I spent a lot of time in her fabric shop purchasing fabric. It was a fun place to go. My prayers are with the Weber and Stearns family. She will be missed by many.
