Babs. You truly had a heart of gold and the courage of 10 ancient kings. Thank you for your encouragement and challenging spirit. You brought out the best in me and many others. You paid attention to the ones often looked past. Rest in peace Babs. And may god bless you with your many Cats in Heaven:

Babs you taught me how to read and passed on your love of books to me. You opened up soooo many things to me by teaching me how to read when I was younger.

I never thought you would leave before me. It feels like forever ago when we met back in the way early 1980's. Working on those tribal books. I'm gonna miss you a whole lot.

Babs, thank you for our talks and all the knowledge you shared. May you rest in peace with a bounty of Monarch butterflies surrounding you. God bless you for taking care of the cats. You will be deeply missed by me and many others (including Bella and Boo). You were truly an original and I'm glad to have called you my neighbor and friend.

Babs was a well meaning, kind hearted woman who didn't like to give up on anything, including the people in her life. She was a bit quirky but her love of cats and nature was inspiring. I'll always remember the time I was buying a trellis at Walmart and she made me wait while she relocated a chrysalis. My condolences to her family.

Thank you Babs for teaching me about butterflies, thank you for making me finish my homework, thanks for everything your kind heart was able to share with me as a teenager. I'll be forever grateful. 

Anytime I see a monarch I still think about your teachings!🦋🦋🦋
