Ralph Jones

Jones, Ralph

Ralph always seemed to have a smile on his face and a friendly word. He believed in a world made new when Jesus comes again, and Ralph will be smiling again then! Our thoughts and prayers to Yvonne and his family.

May Ralph rest in peace now .he was such an asset to the Christian food Storehouse for so many years And we were so thankful for all the help and the delivering of food with his sweet and gentle wife, Yvonne

Now Ralph was more than a gentleman and a scholar. He was also a gentle man, soft spoken but with a spine of steele. I disgree he was a jack of all trades and a master of none. I never saw anything he couldn't do and master. He was a member of the Shoshoni Town Council and mayor during some rough times but guided the town through it with soft spoken intelligence and a steady hand. Always putting the citizens first and never for his own glory. The town of Shoshoni owes him a lot. And while we are saddened to hear of Ralph's passing we are glad he made it to 97 because he did so much good in all those years.

It's always a profound feeling when someone who's been there for so long is now no longer here. I didn't know Ralph as well as other folks in the families, but he always was glad to see us.  He always did the best he could, and that's all that can be asked of any of us. Godspeed, Ralph.

Ralph lived across the alley from my parents and I remember when he built that house.  We becme good friends when we rode together every day out to the Black Hills and the Lucky Mac Mine. Ralph was a friend to me and a man I respected as a Christian.
