Dear Family and Friends of Mr. Asay,

Jody and I are saddened at the loss of Ken. He lived a good long life! He would tell me stories about the Game and Fish days and working their with my uncle Cliff Stevens from Glenrock Wyoming. I bought Ken's John Deere 420 tractor from him a few years ago. Took us 3 years to arrive at a price but we had a great time going at each other. Also enjoyed coffee and doughnuts in his kitchen with Ken and Mark Leonhardt BS ing each other (hard to believe I know).

It has been an honor to call you my friend. You will be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss. God bless you all during this sad time.

My condolences to the Asay family.  I remember him from when I was a little girl living just down the road from their home by Ocean Lake.  May your many memories with him comfort you at this time.

I was so saddened to hear of Ken's passing. I still remember the fun times I had with Linda and her family as a kid.

Sending all my love and prayers to the Asay family.

We will miss you Ken.  I  will not forget all the stories and memories you helped create hunting, fishing, and in conversation.  Dad thought the world of you too.   I hope you found each other once again.

God be with you, my friend.
Peace be with your family.
I am sorry I cannot make it to the funeral.  I will come see you at your gravesite in the spring.

Everyone enjoyed Ken Asay.

He spent a few mornings in our donut shop.  One day he says to me "Dick, can you believe how people just mumble these days?".  I asked him if he ever thought about hearing aids?  This is just a thought I have had when I heard he had died.  I thought of him asking me that many times.

So sorry for our loss. Always enjoyed seeing Ken at the Midvale Store.

So sorry to hear about Ken's passing. I was a green hiree with the Game & Fish Department in Lander when first meeting Ken at Ocean Lake Wildlife Management Unit. Although only working 10 years for the Department, I learned so much about waterfowl management and life in general from Ken. He was always humorous but passionate about Wyomings wildlife resources. I'll always remember Ken and Shirley Asay for their annual "Green Grass" party at Ocean Lake- such a great wonderful time with Game & Fish colleagues and their families. God bless you my mentor and friend- thanks for being a part of my life. Rest in Peace.

Vernon V David - 12/2/2024

My memories of Ken Asay are diverse, as he drifted through my life as David's dad, the game warden, the guy who lived by the lake, my dad's friend, and someone who, to my surprise, remembered me.

He will be missed.

So sad to hear of Ken's passing. He was one of the nicest people we knew! One of the last times to see him was at church and he always remembered us! He will be missed!
