I've known her since she was the Kindergaren teacher's aide at Saint Stephen's.  I remember her bringing her baby to school one time.  She was always a friend to me. I love her very much. She used to call my brother Forrest Whiteman her son, and would often ask about him. Pleasant Journey, I'm going to miss you.

Have known Ruth since 1998 when I started working at St. Stephens. At first I could tell she had her doubts about me, but in time she accepted me and realized I loved the kids as much as she did, and truly wanted to help preserve the Arapahoe culture and language. Momma Ruth as we called her. We are gonna miss you everly so much. Creator bless her n watch over her as she makes her journey home. She was Beautiful lady. Caring. We enjoyed your visits when we got too. It's gonna be hard for us all who knew you, especially the grandkids whom you raised. We all learned Quite a lot from you. We will cherish the memories we had with you. You always made everyone smile n laugh. Prayers for all of us as we spend one more night with you n help make your journey home. I remembered when I got to first meet you grandma Ruth you were kind loving and took me in as one of your family members, Austin brought me over and I gave you a big hug and introduced myself. You were an amazing woman. Thank you for the wonderful memories I got to have with you. I loved your contagious smile and laugh it would brighten up the whole room. I am going to miss you a ton! I pray for you to have safe travels to heaven I know you will be missed by so many I pray for the family and have them in my thoughts during this difficult time. I love you
