I got my last hug from Leslie last Tuesday when she was at the middle school for a class. She was friendly and smiling as always, but she was very tired and she told me that...but instead of going home to rest, she went back into the classroom to keep learning so she could continue be the best teacher ever. I guess we have to believe that God new how tired she really was, and now she is with him and out of her pain. We will see her sparkling eyes and beautiful smile again. We just have to wait.

I am out of state, but will be praying with all of you at 2:00 today.

The Gabrielsen Family,

Shortly after school started this year our twins Maggie and Paige were being discussed. Paige was in Mrs. Judd's class and Maggie in Leslie's. Since the girls started school it has been hard for people to see them as individuals, alike but different. My husband and I were so pleased when Leslie stuck up for the girls, not because of the great wise teacher she was, but to our amazement because she was a twin herself. She said her and her sister were just like Maggie and Paige. I never got the chance to tell her how much that meant to us. Everyday was like a ritual of Maggie telling us how Mrs. Gabrielsen came in and read to her today, how she got to see Jaylynn and hang out with Kade that day. Your Leslie touched our life in so many ways even if she wasn't aware of it. For that we will forever be greatful.
