It's beyond heartbreaking that our Sturgis buddy is gone.  Thank God we spent 1 last hurrah in 2024, we would have partied had we known it would be his last. I could never go to the Rally again without thinking about he & Bonnie riding with us.

His sense of humor and everything about him we will miss.    Sending the hugest hug to my "sister from another mother" Bonnie.  RIP and Godspeed Roger. .from Wisconsin with Love.

Bonnie, Sherry and I were very stunned and saddened to hear of Roger's passing. We remember Roger as always having a big smile and a warm and friendly attitude. It was a pleasure to have served with him in the 821st transportation squadron. I met many good people in the Air Force, and Roger was one of the most memorable. Sherry and I will always remember yours and Roger's friendship and the fun times we had together. Love and prayers from Oregon Rest in peace Roger.

An honor to know Roger & his Family and a pleasure to work with. Rest in peace with our eternal Lord, Jesus Christ.

Roger Rizor was a hero. He helped many, many victims of child abuse during his time with the Sheriff's Department, going above and beyond in his professionalism, dedication and kindness. As a tribal prosecutor on the Wind RIver Indina Reservaiton, I worked closely with Roger on cases and came to trust and respect him immensely. Roger made a real difference. My deepest sympathies to his wonderful wife, Bonnie (also a woman who makes a difference in the life of so many) and to his family. I am sure the Good Lord gave him an especially heartfelt welcome when he went home.  Till we meet again.

Bonnie, I love you like a sister and I've been friends with you and Roger along time.  John died Feb. 20 2024, so it's hard for both of us losing our husbands, who loved each other like brothers,  but we will make it through.

THEY WALK BESIDE US
