We are terribly sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. She was a wonderful, warm lady and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Wells family: I am so devastated at the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. After having just visited with her and John on 7/10, I am so thankful for that short time to see her again and laugh over many stories about the ranch and Miami's field camp. Barbara was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I know that all of the master teachers from Miami University are with you at this time. She was a great lady and hostess for us for the past 17 years.

Sorry to hear about Barbara pasingaway. I always considered her a friend.

So many memories of our association with our dear friends, Barbara and the entire Wells family. Barbara was a sweet and gentle spirit who saw the best in each of us and made us feel like we were important to her. How lucky for us to have known and loved her.

Dear John, Eric, Chad, Otto, Paula, Margaret, Kay, and all of the Wells Family,

I was saddened to hear of your loss and wish I could be there to share my condolences in person. The Timberline Ranch and the Wells Family have always been a dear memory for me and a hope of always having a spot to visit in Wyoming where we can pull up a chair and shoot the breeze.

I send you our love and prayers and thank you for opening your ranch and hearts to some many travelers to your neck of the woods. You will never know how many people you have touched and Barb was usually the first one at the door to say hello.

I am so sorry to hear that Barbra passed away. She was a kind and caring woman, gracious and welcoming to me. I was lucky to share a summer with her when I helped at the ranch after her hired staff left before the end of the season. I so enjoyed the time we spent after work, walking along the ridge in the afternoons. We secretly hoped to find some rare and wonderful thing to show the “students” in those rock outcroppings! Of course, we only found rocks, but it added a bit of adventure to watching every step we took for fear of falling down the hill!

I hope that your family finds comfort in knowing that many remember Barbra for her gentle kindness and generosity.

I wish you quiet in which to grieve, and solace in one-another.

My thoughts are with all of you. Barbara was a great woman. She always went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I will always remember her cheerful smile.

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers...it is so very hard to say goodbye to someone who has been such an instrumental part of our lives, but knowing that they are in a better place, free of pain and hardships, makes thier absence a little easier. We only have to turn to the Lord when we are down to ask him to help us throught the rough times. God Bless you all.
