Tim & Barb Cardenas, Mandy, Sia, & Brooke - 9/2/2010Brenda & family,
I'm surprised and saddened to learn of Tony's passing. Yet another of the CWC "pioneers" has ridden off in to the sunset. Tony and his peers helped mold "Fort Smart" into a respectable educational institution from the dust of the prairies. He provided regional notice of this little rural school via his scrappy basketball teams. May we never take for granted what Tony and his contemporaries did for post-secondary education in Wyoming. It was an honor to have known and worked with this gentleman. "Team Masters"--his wife and family, of course, gave him purpose! and will miss him most.
Mrs. Masters,
I am very sorry to read of Tony's passing. I played basketball for Tony in Savannah in the 1965-1966 season. He was a tremendous coach and a wonderful person.
Brenda and Family---Please know that I am sending you my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Tony was one of my favorite people in the world, and I really appreciated his friendship. As a fellow teacher and coach, I know how much he cared about young people. As a friend, he often spoke to me about how important his family was to him. He was one of the most kind, giving of his time and energy, and honorable people I have had in my life, and I will miss him dearly. I am sorry I lost touch at x-mas, but my electronic address book froze on me.
Sincerely, Fran Buckless (x-coach and freind at RCC)
Great Aunt Brenda and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Great Uncle Tony's sudden passing. I only met him on a few special occasions, but I will always remember his kind demeanor wonderful stories that he would share about raising cattle. He was also very proud of his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a wonderful man and truly a "good guy". My thoughts are with you during this time.
With love,
Amanda Rowland Pugh
Mr. Masters was my civics teacher and my PE teacher in the early 1960s. I highly respected him for his Christian beliefs and he was a great coach and made civics interesting. I read of his passing in the St Joe paper this morning. He was my teacher at Faucett High and he was well respected. God bless you his family.
Kay Fisher - 9/5/2010Brenda and family, I would like to apologize for not being able to attend the services for Tony. We have been in and out of town and did not find out about his death until later. Tony was a wonderful man and someone I have always looked up to and admired. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Mike & Carolyn Harris - 9/6/2010My father just told me about Tony's death. I was a student at Savannah High School in the late 1960's. I had Tony as a teacher in Civics and also played basketball for him. He was one of those influential teachers who helped shape me into who I am, a fully informed citizen as well as someone who still loves the game of basketball. Some coaches went through the motions in the classroom but Tony was enthusiastic about what he was teaching as well as being a good teacher. I am sorry for your loss.
Mrs Masters,
I'm just finding out about Mr. Masters passing and I'm so very sorry to hear this. It was a pleasure to live next door to you both for so many years. I remember Tony taking the best care of the yard. And putting up with us teenagers. You couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family.
Brenda,
My thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Tony was a wonderful person and I am a better person for knowing him.
