Funeral services for Titus Lee Amos of Riverton will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, in the Riverton High School gym. The Rev. Dale Adams and Ray Parkhurst will officiate. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. There will be a viewing from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Mr. Amos died in a one-vehicle rollover southeast of Riverton Friday night, Sept. 4, 2009. He was 19 years old. Titus Lee Amos was born in Riverton on June 25, 1990, the son of Francis Ralph Amos and Ruth Ann (Augustine) Amos. The young man played basketball and football at Riverton Middle School and Riverton High School. His family said he also liked watching National Football League games, with the Dallas Cowboys as his favorite team. He enjoyed playing Madden NFL video games and the family said he loved his family, friends, and teachers, enjoyed traveling and meeting new people, and joking around. Mr. Amos attended the Full Gospel Church. His family said he liked to travel with his parents to revivals and camp meetings, helping out the Rock of Ages Fivefold Ministry. The family said he enjoyed reading his Bible and praying and enjoyed gospel music daily. He worked at the Speedway Café, Maverick, Wyoming Smoke House, Papa Murphy's, and was a scorekeeper for the girls' volleyball team at the high school. Survivors include his parents, Francis R. Amos, Sr., and Ruth A. Amos; brothers, Christopher L. Amos and his wife Amber, their son Kobe and daughter, Maddison, Francis R. Amos, Jr., and his son Jordan, John B. Amos, Christian L. Amos, Matthias C. Amos, and Caleb J. Amos; sisters, Delphine Tinzado and daughters Keisha and Alexandra, and their sons, Damian, Shawn and Mason, Christine M. Amos and her daughter Peyton, Holly Y. Bueno and her husband Christopher T. Bueno and their expected child, Judy A. Amos, Judith A. Smith and her husband Eriq L. Smith and their sons Malachi and Eriq, Jr., and Hannah R. Amos; aunts and uncles, Muriel C'Hair, Charlie C'Hair, Charlene Yellowfox, Julian C'Hair, Willamette Surrell, Marie Martinez, Clarissa, Tsosie, Herbert Augustine, Sam Augustine, Teresa Augustine, Linda Costello; grandmother, Yvonne Amos. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John Augustine and Christine Augustine; Nellie Tyler-Amos, Frank Amos, John Augustine, Christine Augustine, Delford Augustine, Lambert Augustine, Sherman Tinzado, and Charlie Augustine.
