Titus Lee Amos

Amos, Titus Lee

Sorry about your loved one.

Beatriz Vargas - 9/10/2009

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Titus was a great kid. Our family knew Titus because our son Tyler was friends with him and played football with him in middle school. And boy could he play football. We enjoyed watching him play. Titus was liked by everyone and will be missed forever. God Bless your family.

I met Titus while working games at Riverton High School. After introduced himself to me, he would always say Hi to me when I would see around town. I am very sorry for your loss, but please know that he was a nice, and respectful kid.

I am a better person today because Titus was part of my life. There were many times that Titus would come to my house by himself just to visit. We would usually start talking about things that we thought meant so much - like basketball, and would always end by talking about things that we knew meant everything - his family. Titus had a great love for his own family and still took the time to talk and share his life with everyone. Everyone in my family loved him and we will dearly miss him.

It is always a difficult time to lose a loved one, but even more difficult to lose a child. I am so sorry for your loss.

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

I knew Titus from when he was a fifth grader at Rendezvous Elementary. He would often take time during his recess time to chat and joke with us while we were on recess duty. He was always a genuine, kind, and pleasant young man. It was enjoyable to watch Titus play football with his friends---everybody loved him. I will always remember how excited the entire school was when Titus won the State Young Authors competition. He will always be a favorite in my heart.

Titus was a 5th grade student in my class at Rendezvous. He was always kind and respectful, and he wanted to be successful. He stayed after school one night until 5:30 and we completed his Young Author's book. It was a wonderful story about his grandfather. We made a beautiful cover for it and sent it to state competition. When we learned he won, we were all elated! At the end of the last school year, Titus stopped by my classroom to say hello. We had a great visit and I showed him the beautiful plaque hanging in our library with his name on it, for winning state Young Author's competition. I told him how proud we were of him and he said that he was proud of himself and thanked me. Titus was a wonderful young man who touched all he knew. We will miss him so much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
