Billie Clay Lappin

Billie Clay Lappin, 84, passed away on January 9, 2025. He was born on July 19, 1940, in Emmett, Idaho, to Albert Mearl Lappin and Ruth E. (Choin) Lappin.
Billie lived a full life, residing in Idaho, Colorado, Alaska, Elgin, Oregon for 22 years, and Riverton, Wyoming for 24 years. On December 24, 1988 he married Patricia Scott Farrell in LaGrande, Oregon.
He worked for the Forest Service in Idaho and later for the State of Oregon Highway Department. Billie had a deep love for horses and westerns, which brought him great joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his sons, James C. (Sonja) Lappin of Nampa, Idaho, Billie L. (Tiffany) Lappin of Elgin, Oregon, Cory B. (Kristi) Loveland of Elk City, Idaho, and Jared J. (Ericka) Loveland of Riverton, Wyoming; daughters, Tracey (Lucky) Hennings of Farson, Wyoming, Babette (Kevin) Gentry of Christmas Valley, Oregon, and Leslie Royce of Longview, Washington; brother, Bob (Jerry) Lappin; sister, Sunny Swanson of Enterprise, Oregon; and 27 grandchildren.
Billie was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lappin; his parents, Albert and Ruth Lappin, Tricia Binder; Marvella Gibbs and Terry Binder.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
